Job Summary

The Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager is responsible for driving Sessions' online presence, customer engagement, and digital growth across all channels. This role oversees the retail website, SEO strategy, email marketing, digital advertising, and loyalty initiatives to create a cohesive and impactful brand experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

E-Commerce & Website Management

·      Manage and maintain the Sessions' retail website.

·      Optimize site performance and user experience.

·      Manage and oversee the internal store website portal.

·      Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other tools to monitor site health and performance.

SEO & Content Strategy

·      Develop and implement SEO strategies to enhance search visibility, improve rankings, and increase traffic.

·      Conduct keyword research, optimize website and blog content, and track performance through analytics tools.

·      Perform regular SEO audits to ensure best practices and monitor & improve technical SEO elements.

Social Media & Digital Advertising

·      Manage and grow Sessions' social media presence across platforms.

·      Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns through relevant platforms.

Email Marketing & Communications

·      Plan, build, and execute email marketing and communications campaigns.

·      Utilize segmentation strategies to deliver personalized communications and enhance customer retention.

Loyalty & Customer Retention

·      Assist in managing and optimizing the Sessions Rewards loyalty program.

·      Develop campaigns and communications to increase engagement, member growth, and overall loyalty.

Other Duties as Assigned

·      Additional responsibilities may arise depending on business needs, special projects, or cross-functional collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing, E-commerce management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in WordPress.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SEO and digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Experience with loyalty or rewards programs is an asset.
  • Experience in the cannabis or retail industry is a bonus.
  • Must be 19+.

  • Strategic thinking with a strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems and consumer behaviour.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret metrics, identify insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Creative and visually driven.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced retail and regulatory environment.

Working Conditions

  • Remote-based, works from home in Canada.
  • Travels from time to time.
