- Accurately identify and source the right parts for repairs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Order and receive parts through phone, online systems, and our body shop management system.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, returning or reordering when necessary.
- Ensure timely distribution of parts to technicians in line with the production schedule.
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders, backorders, and credits.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and inventory records.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist technicians, handle incoming calls, and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety policies and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
- 1+ year experience in a retail or wholesale automotive parts department.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand vendor catalogues.
- Familiarity with parts department computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Valid driver's license with a acceptable driving record.
