Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Cultures – Upper Canada Mall

Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Cultures restaurant at Upper Canada Mall. This role ensures excellent customer service, operational efficiency, food quality, staff leadership, and compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Customer Service

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with Cultures brand standards and operational procedures

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store employees
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action when required
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
  • Ensure all required certifications and documentation are current

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and receiving of products
  • Control food and labor costs to meet budget targets
  • Minimize waste, theft, and operational inefficiencies

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and deposit procedures
  • Prepare reports and communicate performance updates to management
  • Assist with budgeting and cost analysis as required

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Support brand promotions, loyalty programs, and local marketing initiatives
  • Ensure correct implementation of pricing, promotions, and menu updates

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a QSR or restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and labor regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a franchise or mall-based food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills

Working Conditions

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
