About the Role
Our client, a major supplier of
chocolate and chocolate products
to large national retailers, and is seeking a
Bilingual Key Account Manager
based in Montreal.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of key retail accounts, drive category management initiatives, introduce new products, and negotiate long-term agreements. You will act as the strategic lead for your accounts, ensuring growth, alignment, and flawless execution with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned key retail accounts
- Set and maintain sales objectives by account
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple buyers within the same account
- Prepare proposals and seasonal product presentations
- Negotiate multi-year contracts
- Lead negotiations and coordination of promotional agreements
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to each account
- Proactively seek growth opportunities and propose improvements
- Respond promptly to client needs and requests
Requirements
- Languages:
Fluent French + excellent English (written & spoken) - Education:
Bachelor's in Business Administration (preferred) - Experience:
Minimum 5 years selling to
retail accounts
, ideally in the
food industry - Travel:
2–3 overnight trips per year
