We are looking for a Head Cashier to join our location in Clearwater, BC.

The successful candidate must have open availability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries, returns, requests, and concerns.
  • Manage the daily operations for cash registers and front-end team members.
  • Complete daily tasks which include cash up, balancing, deposits, coin orders, and credit/debit transactions.
  • Support front-end team members by helping on registers, bagging customers' groceries, and stocking shelves with the freshest products.
  • Verify and ensure accurate department signage, including pricing.
  • Communicate important messages and provide training to team members.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management including stock counts and orders.
  • Create the weekly department schedules and assist with maintaining staffing levels.
  • Maintain the customer service area to keep it clean and sanitary.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years cashier experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$ $24.00
