Overview

We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Bartender to join our vibrant and award winning team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cocktail bartending, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage bar operations efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in a lively and unique environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The Senior Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, leading by example in maintaining high standards and shift lift opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as toast.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
  • Oversee cash handling and cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately using POS systems.
  • Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Assist our bar manager and head bartender in mentoring junior bartenders and staff on proper serving techniques, food safety, and hospitality standards.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills during busy hours.
  • Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere that promotes hospitality and positive guest interactions.

Skills

  • Proven experience with hospitality service roles, especially in cocktail bartending environments.
  • Proficiency in POS systems such as Toast for cashiering and order management.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing inventory counts accurately.
  • Experience in serving beverages confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities expected of a senior role.
  • Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy delivering exceptional hospitality services.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
