What You'll Do:

  • Lead full-cycle accounting and finance functions, including Sage accounting, Ceridian payroll, compliance, purchasing, and timely monthly reporting.
  • Supervise and support administration across multiple teams: front desk, bookkeeping, hospitality, leisure, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Oversee policy, procedure, and task management for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Guide implementation of digital platforms for food service administration
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to our front desk and bookkeeping teams, helping them grow with confidence.
    Embrace flexibility - whether it's troubleshooting an urgent issue, socializing with residents, or problem-solving unexpected challenges.

What We're Looking For:

  • CPA designation (or equivalent experience) with a strong accounting and financial management background. You need to understand debits, credits and journal entries.
  • Proven leadership experience (2-3+ years) in managing teams in a professional environment
  • Strong technical expertise with Sage, MS Office, and digital system implementation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - empathetic, patient, and approachable - with the ability to connect authentically with residents, families, and staff.
  • Organized and adaptable, able to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-paced 24/7/365 community.
  • Eden Associates & Experience working in seniors' living, healthcare, or hospitality environments is preferred.
    Must be prepared to occasionally respond to calls or emergencies outside of regular office hours.
