Join Chula as a Lead Server in Toronto to provide outstanding service and ensure our guests have memorable experiences. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our vibrant culture and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm welcome.

  • Take orders accurately and efficiently using Toast POS.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist with training new staff members as needed
  • Qualifications
  • Prior 3 years experience in Leadership and/or Server role is required.
  • Proven experience as a server or in food service, preferably in a Mexican or casual dining environment. Must be able to handle multiple tables during rush hours.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours. Able to handle well under pressure.
  • Basic math skills for billing and cash handling.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a must.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
