Hamilton/Burlington based contractor (one man) looking for permanent part time help with installation of residential garage doors and removable safety fences for pools.

Suited for working self employed individual with flexible schedule requiring supplemental income, or to pursue this work further as I intend on growing the business. Proof of business insurance and WSIB required for long term consideration. I am easy going and reasonable, but reliability is a must. Direct experience not necessary but competence in construction basics and use of tools is necessary.

Candidates will be expected to commit to installation dates once set. Jobs are all complete in one day. With two men including travel, days are not particularly long. Garage doors are basically within 30km of Burlington. Pool fences can be anywhere in southern Ontario. Ride sharing is available for any long distance work.

Reliable transportation is an absolute must. Truck or van are definite assets as materials pickup and/or dump runs will be required. All work is outdoors in residential settings, and appropriate conduct is required while onsite. Pay is hourly, based on experience and ability, and includes travel where special trips are required, or where long distances are involved. Profit sharing will be offered for those seeking more commitment.
