TITLE: ALEBEX – Business Development Representative (BDR)

ABOUT ALEBEX: ALEBEX builds an AI virtual assistant that helps organizations qualify and convert leads. When a lead is generated, the ALEBEX assistant follows up through phone calls, SMS, and email, engages prospects 24/7, qualifies intent, and escalates serious opportunities to a human team member.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The role of the Business Development Representative ("BDR") is to drive pipeline growth and revenue while expanding ALEBEX's market presence through outbound outreach, promotions, partnerships, event planning, and trade show participation. The BDR will take a hands-on approach to prospecting, relationship-building, and product demonstrations, working directly with prospective customers and partners to generate demand and close opportunities. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys meeting new people, running demos, and helping build a scalable, repeatable go-to-market motion in a growing organization.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, customer acquisition, or related roles (technology/SaaS preferred).
  • Comfortable with outbound activity (cold calling, email outreach, follow-ups) and confident speaking with business owners/managers.
  • Hands-on event/trade show experience (or strong interest with demonstrated ability to execute logistics and follow-up).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Communication: clear writing and speaking; confident but respectful phone presence.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving: diagnoses root needs and suggests workable solutions.
  • Ownership and accountability: reliable pipeline hygiene, accurate reporting, and strong follow-up habits.
  • Adaptability: comfortable in a fast-moving environment with evolving product and messaging.
  • Industry experience (preferred): Experience selling to SMBs, or within education, healthcare, hospitality, or other high-inquiry service industries.
  • Technical familiarity (preferred): Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce, including workflow and calendar integrations.
  • Marketing support experience (preferred): Experience supporting partnerships, community outreach, or campaign coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and prioritize target customer segments (B2B and B2C) and build outbound prospect lists.
  • Execute consistent outreach (calls, emails, texts, social outreach) and manage multi-touch follow-up sequences.
  • Deliver compelling discovery calls and demos, clearly explaining ALEBEX's virtual assistant capabilities and business impact.
  • Identify relevant local and regional events/trade shows; help plan attendance, booth needs, and event messaging.
  • Represent ALEBEX on-site: engage attendees, run quick demos, collect leads, and schedule follow-up meetings
  • Support marketing initiatives (promotions, partnerships, co-marketing opportunities, local business networks).
  • Contribute to sales collateral (one-pagers, decks, short case studies, email templates) and help refine messaging based on market feedback.
  • Track all activities, contacts, and opportunities accurately in the CRM.
  • Provide weekly reporting on KPIs (outreach, conversations, meetings, pipeline, win/loss notes, event performance).
