We are searching for a Client Services Assistant to join our Parklanf at the Lakes team based in Darmouth, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

Assists residents with hygiene and daily living activities, such as: bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, and mobilizing according to the work assignmentAssists in the provision of social, spiritual, and intellectual activities for residentsCleans resident rooms, server and household common areasMay administer resident medications as assigned under the direction of the Resident Services Coordinator/Manager and in accordance with Physician orders following all medication management policies and guidelinesCompleting all duties in a way which is consistent with Shannex's Philosophy of Service: Your life. Your choice. Your HomeCommunicates and reports relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor.

About You

You have valid post-secondary education in a related fieldYou can work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidaysYou can provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screeningWe consider any previous course in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care to be an assetA valid CPR & First Aid Certification is required.
