Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans and ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through ongoing care. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of medical and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient treatment plans, ensuring all necessary information is collected and communicated effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Abledent and other relevant software.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Assist in supervising office staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage scheduling and follow-up appointments to optimize patient flow.
  • Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Participate in budgeting processes to help manage office resources effectively.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is required, with a strong preference for candidates with supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and medical terminology is essential.
  • Experience in human resources or budgeting within a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Background in nursing or acute care settings will be considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
