Duties:

- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service in the restaurant kitchen

- Create and develop new menu items, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer preferences

- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels

- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and implement cost-effective strategies for menu planning and pricing

- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to meet customer expectations

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Skills:

- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, including cooking, baking, and plating

- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment

- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative menu items

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and current culinary trends
