Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your expertise in the food and beverage industry will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders and maintain effective communication during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management.
  • Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service, including checking identification for age verification.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
