Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Owner Operator Driver to join our logistics team. This role offers the opportunity to operate your own vehicle while managing freight deliveries across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and freight carriers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Manage freight loading and unloading, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs as needed
  • Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and related paperwork
  • Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when required for freight handling or loading operations
  • Uphold safety standards and best practices to prevent accidents or damage during transportation

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license preferred
  • Hands-on experience with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is advantageous
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations
  • Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road
  • Prior experience operating large or specialized vehicles is a plus
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in transportation environments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $250.00 per day

Expected hours: 40 per week
