Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Container Drayage Owner Operators

Driving position based in Winnipeg will include both city and local rural trips where drivers are home every night.

Compensation

Our drivers are professionals and are paid accordingly.

For this position, owner operators will be paid top industry rates. For city work, very minimal fuel burn which will improve the owner operators financial performance. When on a local rural route, a very strong fuel subsidy is also provided to fully compensate you for your additional fuel usage.

Further, owner operators will benefit from our very aggressive fuel purchasing power to save cost should they choose to buy fuel through us. Cooks Creek Transport also offers to pay for Owner Operators fuel upfront to improve the cash flows for our owner operators (Better pricing for you and delayed payment to improve your cash flow).

Company will also offer to provide plates and insurance for owner operators.

Experience and Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year of container drayage

- Minimum of 2 years of class 1 driving experience

- Valid Class 1 license

- Able to communicate effectively in English

Equipment Requirement

- Must have a safetied daycab or sleeper cab tractor.

  • Truck must be owned by the owner operator and drive by the owner operator.
