Job Overview

As the Assistant Studio Manager, you play a key leadership role in bringing the Gem Studio experience to life. You'll help lead the team, elevate the guest experience, run workshops, and support daily operations to keep the studio running smoothly. You set the tone for culture, creativity, and customer service—ensuring every person who walks in leaves feeling inspired.

You'll be the right hand to the Studio Manager and a go-to leader for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead staff on shift, setting the tone for culture, energy, and exceptional customer experience
  • Actively conduct workshops, charm sessions, and permanent jewelry appointments
  • Support daily operations, including opening/closing, staff scheduling, studio workflow, and quality execution
  • Oversee floor operations during shifts to ensure a smooth guest journey and consistent service standards
  • Train, coach, and support team members in jewelry-making processes, safety, customer service, and studio procedures
  • Manage inventory: receiving, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining accurate counts
  • Handle customer issues, refunds, escalations, and special requests with professionalism and brand-aligned communication
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized studio environment—ensuring all tools and equipment are used correctly
  • Oversee POS accuracy and participate in daily financial controls
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and providing performance feedback for team members
  • Support local marketing efforts, studio events, workshops, and influencer visits as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
