NDT Trainee

Position Details
Echo is currently seeking
a experienced NDT Trainee
to join and contribute to our inspection team and support our Alberta Operations.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibration of NDT equipment.
• Perform PAUT and ANDE inspections under the supervision of certified technicians.
• Prepare and maintain test reports and documentation.
• Learn to interpret and evaluate test results according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or coursework in NDT, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience with PAUT, MT, PT and ET inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of NDT methods and principles is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as required.
• Physical ability to perform inspections, including standing for extended periods and lifting equipment.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to Work in Confined Spaces.
• Ability to work extended hours when required.
• Valid Drivers License.
