Alteo is looking for an IT Operator / Unix Admin for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your main role will be to ensure the smooth and controlled processing of payment activities in production, while ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that production processes run smoothly to guarantee service availability and reliability.
    • Monitor processes in the production environment and ensure that they run smoothly.
    • Ensure daily control of operations (e.g. monitoring of machines, programs/jobs....)
    • Batch monitoring
    • Supervise production and draw up end-of-day processing reports
    • Participate in automation scripting and the creation of processing chains
  • Manage incidents to ensure their proper resolution
    • Ensure incident analysis and intervention (Level 1) in compliance with procedures and checklists
    • Provide support (Level 1) for end-of-day processing operations
    • Call on teams as needed for infrastructure/technical incidents
  • Report on incident management to ensure that teams are kept informed.
    • Process service requests in the JIRA tool.
    • Participate in the preparation of payment reports for teams and customers
  • Contribute to the development of colleagues' skills in order to improve collective performance.
    • Provide guidance, support and assistance to team members
Profile:
  • AEC/DEC in IT or equivalent
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (an important asset)
  • Unix server
  • Databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL...)
  • Batch and Shell scripting
  • File transfer station (CFT, SFTP...)
  • International network platforms (e.g. Edit Package Visa, Master Com...)
  • Scheduling tools (e.g. AUTOMIC, $UNIVERS...)

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Opérateur TI / Admin Unix pour un poste permanent basé à Montréal.

Votre rôle principal sera d'assurer le bon déroulement et le contrôle des traitements des activités monétiques en production, tout en veillant au respect des processus et réglementations.

Responsabilités:
  • Assurer le bon déroulement des traitements de production dans le but de garantir la disponibilité et la fiabilité des services
    • Assurer le suivi des traitements en environnement de production et garantir leur bon déroulement
    • Assurer le contrôle journalier de l'exploitation (e.g. monitoring des machines, des programmes/jobs.…)
    • Assurer le monitoring des Batch
    • Assurer la supervision de la production et la rédaction des rapports d'exploitation des traitements de fin de journée
    • Participer au Scripting d'automatisation et à la création des chaines de traitement
  • Assurer la gestion des incidents dans le but de garantir leur bonne résolution
    • Assurer l'analyse des incidents et l'intervention (Niv 1) dans le respect des procédures et des check-list
    • Assurer le support (Niv 1) des opérations de traitement de fin de journée
    • Solliciter les équipes si besoin pour les incidents de type infrastructures/techniques
  • Assurer le reporting relatif à la gestion des Incidents dans le but de garantir l'Information des équipes
    • Assurer le traitement des demandes de service dans l'outil JIRA
    • Participer à l'élaboration des rapports monétiques pour les équipes et les client
  • Contribuer au développement des compétences des collègues dans le but d'améliorer la performance collective
    • Assurer l'encadrement, l'appui et le soutien aux membres de l'équipe
Profil:
  • AEC/DEC en TI ou l'équivalent
  • 2-5 années d'expérience dans un rôle similaire
  • Familier avec l'industrie de la monétique (atout important)
  • Serveur Unix
