This long-established global food manufacturer recently relocated its operations to Hamilton and has made a significant investment into modernizing the facility. They're currently looking to add an experienced Millwright to their maintenance team on a
straight night shift
. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated processing and packaging equipment. You'd be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown support, updating maintenance documentation, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. There's a strong emphasis on food safety, quality standards, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on high speed packaging machines, robots, mixers, food processing equipment, etc
  • Machine build experience is considered an asse
  • Breakdown response of all production machinery in the plant
  • Work closely with millwrights and maintenance technicians to complete daily tasks
  • Mechanical troubleshooting as required

What you bring to the table:

  • 433A Millwright license
  • Knowledge of automated machinery and the mechanical ability to handle a fast paced environment
  • Read schematic drawings to repair equipment
  • Professional attitude and work ethic

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with packaging machinery
  • Food/bottling industry experience

$48.75/hr
