MANA is seeking a Full-Time Millwright/ Machinist to join our growing team.

· Hourly Rate starts at $41.40/hour, with potential for premiums and OT after 40 hours. Ability to move up in position for those interested.

· hour work week with 10-12 Hour Rotational Shifts. Days & Nights. Additional overtime available on request.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, efficient and consistent operation and maintenance of equipment and processes
  • Understand and perform safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lockout and emergency response
  • Inspect and repair mechanical equipment and industrial machinery
  • Perform preventive maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies
  • Perform downtime repair work; troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, identify opportunities for optimization
  • Prior experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment and PLC controlled machinery
  • Ensure that all work completed meets regulatory guidelines, manufacturers' specifications and internal maintenance procedures
  • Knowledge and experience in reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
  • Interpret, complete and record work orders
  • Maintain proper documentation including logs, maintenance records, safety and environment reports

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A 433A ticket or general Machinist ticket with 3+ years industrial maintenance experience, preferably within the steel industry
  • Grade 12 High School Diploma
  • Comfortable working Day and Night shifts – 8 to 12-hour shifts
  • Previous experience of using computer software applicable to maintenance operations
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Commitment to safe work practices
