What is Your Role

As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing high-quality BIM models, engineering drawings, and construction documentation that support multi-disciplinary projects. Responsibilities include:

• Plan, manage, and control all CAD project-related activities, including project management, quality control, and timely delivery
• Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings, and visual outputs as required, from preliminary concepts, engineering calculations, project specification sheets, verbal instructions, rough notes, rough sketches, and other project data
• Create building information models (BIM) to digitally represent physical and functional aspects of buildings and engineering systems
• Operate CAD and BIM software platforms, including Revit, AutoCAD, ACC, Navisworks, and BIM 360, to produce accurate models, drawings, and documentation
• Perform clash detection, check and verify design drawings, and lead coordination efforts across structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines
• Resolve design and coordination issues, support design optimization to ensure they conform to design data and engineering specifications
• Write technical reports and contribute to content creation, and maintain BIM libraries and templates to enhance model efficiency and consistency
• Collaborate effectively with the project team to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project schedules
• Assist with the preparation of contracts, tender documents, construction specifications, cost estimates, and material take-offs, as needed
• Supervise and train other technologists, technicians, and drafters as required
• Stay current on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement in BIM practices
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Post-Graduation Diploma from an Engineering, Architectural, or Construction Management college program
• 1-2 years of experience in BIM coordination
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC, BIM 360
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, and Procore, and related software
• Strong understanding of mechanical construction, installation methods, technologies, planning & management, and commissioning processes
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and best practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $33.00-$36.00 per hour
