We are looking for a full-time Outside Maintenance Technician to join our Residential Rentals team in Brantford

About The Role

  • The Outside Maintenance Technician ensures that all aspects of the grounds and outdoor areas of Sifton-owned townhomes, common areas, and parks are well maintained and safe, providing a pleasant environment for our tenants and the community.
  • In addition to landscaping, patio levelling, retaining walls, and drainage, the Outdoor Maintenance Technician is responsible for exterior building maintenance and repair, including roofs, eavestroughs and soffits, window and door sills, brick repair, garbage collection, and snow removal.

Experience

  • Prior experience in a landscape or grounds maintenance environment is preferred.
  • Strong awareness and knowledge of the safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment and other safety protocols.
  • Obtain or able to obtain Working at Heights certification
  • Self-motivated and energetic, able to work well within a team environment. Good communication skills and a positive customer service focus.
  • Ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions.
  • Dependable transportation; valid driver's license and ability to report for flexible work schedules.
