Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with automotive repair experience and a passion for vehicle maintenance to grow their skills in a dynamic dealership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Remove and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth; recommend necessary repairs or replacements
  • Perform wheel alignments, balancing, and other related maintenance tasks
  • Assist customers with tire selection and provide excellent customer service
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles before and after tire service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
  • Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used

Requirements

  • Dealership experience or mechanic background is highly preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire mounting equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prior experience with sales or upselling services is a plus
