Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor/ Handyman to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in industrial maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge. This role requires the ability to manage projects effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical components, and other mechanical systems as needed.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
  • Manage projects related to facility upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Fabricate parts or components as necessary to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment performance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams within an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, logic controllers, and mechanical maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation related to maintenance work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting issues.
