Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties

  • Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
  • Support the food handling process by organizing ingredients and supplies
  • Help with serving food to guests or customers as needed
  • Ensure proper storage of food items according to safety standards
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures
  • Support the team during busy hours by performing various kitchen-related tasks to ensure efficiency and safety

Requirements

  • Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting tasks
