The Job – Project Supervisor

Project Supervisors work directly with multiple Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. Supervising operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Project Supervisor is always on the move. With their extensive construction/restoration experience, strong organizational abilities, and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side's success.

Project Supervisors are responsible for:

  • Overseeing commercial and residential emergency/rebuilds/restoration projects

  • Collaborating with Project Managers to organize and execute scope of work

  • Working with direct reports, and home owners

  • Working within a budget to get a job done

  • Communicating with management, clients and employees

  • Leadership and Coaching Field Staff

  • Health & Safety on jobs sites

  • Leading large teams on site multiple sites, including in house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes

  • Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Documentation of site visits and job progress

  • Weekly Fleet Checks

  • Site Safety Inspections

  • Working on the tools as required

What you bring:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • 5+ years of Construction related experience

  • Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork

  • Preferred Restoration Lead Water Damage Technician experience and/or certification

  • Commercial and residential experience – Emergency/renovation/restoration vs new build

  • Superior communication skills: dealing with homeowners, Project Managers, Stakeholders and employees

  • Ability to work within a budget

  • Assignment of work duties

  • Work ethic and the ability to bring this out in others

  • Previous experience using Word, Excel, and ability to learn various computer programs and applications

  • Tech savvy, ability to document and upload work progress

  • Strong Organizational skills

  • Valid driver's licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)

Other stuff that'll help you be successful:

  • Skilled trade(s) or IICRC certificates

  • NCSO experience or equivalent training

  • Knowledge of basic drying concepts and drying equipment usage

  • Standard First Aid certification

  • Physically fit

Of Note

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
