Lewis Motor Sales is currently searching for a dynamic Experienced Parts Counter Person for our new Bracebridge location, opening soon.

This position requires the ability to effectively communicate product features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers, and effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and technical aptitude, exceptional organization skills with strong attention to details.

Qualifications and Duties:
  • 5 to 10 years experience working in a Heavy Truck and/or Automotive Parts environment, with an advanced understanding of Heavy Truck Parts. (Class 3 – 8 vehicle knowledge)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with relationship building capability
  • Good understanding of parts operations, including procurement, orders, backorders and core handling
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts to support the business needs
  • Determine if the customer has ordered enough parts to perform the repairs adequately and make suggestions for related or additional parts, if it is required to finish the job completely
  • Use personal protective equipment as required
  • Ability to stand and/or view computer screen for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to and including 50 lbs
  • Ensure all company property is accounted for and treated with reasonable care
