Responsibilities

  • Advise and sell mortgage products from a wide range of lenders.
  • Daily prospecting and relationship-building with referral partners and professional networks.
  • Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Stay current on lender guidelines, new mortgage products, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the full mortgage process.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, admin, and insurance teams for seamless file processing.
  • Enter and track all sales activity in the CRM system; prepare reports as requested by management.
  • Establish long-term trust and rapport with clients, communities, and referral sources.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong ethical conduct at all times.

Experience

  • Valid Mortgage Agent Licence in Ontario or willingness to obtain one.
  • Sales experience, preferably in mortgages, real estate, or financial services is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
