Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience in the food industry, and a commitment to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients daily, including chicken, burger patties, sandwich toppings, and house-made sauces.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Follow recipes and instructions to prepare various dishes while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe handling of all food products.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and support during peak hours.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies, monitoring inventory, and assisting with deliveries.
- Uphold Chicken N' Dough's commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred but not required—training provided.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is essential.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
