Job Title: Associate, Quality Assurance

Role Profile: Based in Leamington ON, we are currently looking for a QA Associate to join our team. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, the candidate supports the manufacturing of cannabis products. This includes the inspection of received materials, monitoring of manufacturing activities, and verification of the completeness of production records.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Embody Auxly's business mission and strategy and act in a responsible, ethical, and honest behaviour while consistently leading by example.
  • Review received materials and conduct all defined checks prior to release-for-use.
  • Verify pre-production activities, which can include line clearance verification and cleaning verification.
  • Conduct in-process testing and in-process sampling in accordance with operating procedures and batch records.
  • Verify the completeness of executed batch records.
  • Identify, categorize, and communicate any observed non-compliances to departmental Leadership.
  • Monitor the implementation of approved Change Controls that impact the above activities.
  • Monitor the introduction of new products that impact the above activities.
  • Utilize Quality and Enterprise Management software platforms.
  • Participate in various Quality Event assignments that support the resolution of complaints, deviations, and/or non-conformances.
  • Participate in the creation or revision of standard operating procedures, forms, and work instructions.
  • Participating in internal and external quality audits with Quality Assurance leadership and relevant departments.
  • Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Company.

What we look for:

  • 1 years' experience in Quality Control or an adjacent department in a practical production environment or;
  • Post-Secondary education in Quality, Science or Engineering, or equivalent.

What will set you apart:

  • Experience with an ERP and/or QMS software system is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a GMP/GPP environment is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of the Cannabis Act would is considered an asset.
