LOCATION: OAKVILLE, ON

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to continuing growth, a fast-paced distributor has an immediate opening for an Inventory Analyst. The team is quite close-knit, and collaboration with other departments is a big part of the role. Our client offers a good compensation and benefits package, with opportunities for future growth.

The Inventory Analyst monitors inventory levels and vendor performance, as well as issue purchase orders to ensure enough product is on hand to meet customer demand, without building up excess inventory. We need someone with strong computer skills and an analytical mindset who can balance inventories and drive best practices in replenishment. Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of urgency are requirements for this role

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-5 years of relevant buying experience, specifically in a retail or wholesale environment with a high SKU count.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel. Needs to be able to pull reports from the ERP and perform analytics in Excel.
  • Some post-secondary education required – CPIM, SCMP, or CCLP a definite asset.

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $65,000 per year range, plus bonus, good benefits package. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

EDUCATION: Some post-secondary education required. Preference for CPIM, SCMP or CCLP.
