We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the management team while overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail sales. As a Junior Supervisor, you will play a key role in training and developing staff, managing time effectively, and contributing to the overall success of our retail environment.

Duties

  • Ensuring that quality customer service standards are achieved
  • Helping your team understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Training new team members
  • Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback
  • Use conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Planning, organizing and controlling daily operations
  • Managing curb appeal of the site by delegating appropriate tasks
  • Directing cars onto the tunnel wash conveyor
  • Supervising customer/vehicle flows
  • Providing customers with a great understanding of the benefits of our products and services
  • Month end duties such as stock control, inventory management and pricing
  • Additional duties as assigned or required

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or supervisory roles is preferred.
  • Strong interviewing skills with an understanding of effective hiring practices.
  • Proficiency in time management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Experience in training development to enhance team performance.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members alike.
