We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Glazier to join our team.

This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with little to no experience in glazing but who are eager to learn and grow in the trade. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass in residential settings. Familiarity with basic tools such as drills, saws, and impact drivers is required, and on-the-job training will be provided to develop glazing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior glaziers in the installation, removal, and repair of glass for windows, doors and other structures.
  • Handle and transport glass and related materials safely and efficiently.
  • Use tools such as drills, saws, impact drivers, and measuring devices to support glazing tasks.
  • Prepare work sites by setting up equipment, scaffolding, and safety barriers as needed.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Learn and apply glazing techniques, including sealing, caulking, and weatherproofing.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project completion.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, a clean abstract and reliable transportation (mandatory requirement).
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and work at heights.
  • Little to no prior experience in glazing required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Familiarity with using hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and impact drivers
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
  • May require working at heights on ladders or scaffolding.
  • Full-time schedule with potential for overtime, including occasional weekends.
