Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer/ Hardwood floor refinisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in flooring installation and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing various types of flooring materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

  • Install various flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.
  • Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayment.
  • Sand and refinish hardwood floors
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting flooring materials.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in flooring installation or a related field such as carpentry or maintenance person services.
  • Proficiency in floor laying techniques and knowledge of various flooring materials.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in flooring installation.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with flooring installation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
