Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and experience with various accounting software. This role is essential in ensuring that our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently while providing support to the team.

Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage, and Peachtree to manage financial transactions and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial documents and transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline office operations and improve efficiency.
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Invoicing generation and customer billing inquiries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage and Peachtree) is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with general office procedures and practices is preferred.
  • Familiar with both Canadian and US accounting procedures and tax requirements.

Pay: $60,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
