CNC Mill Machinist – Custom, One-Off Work (Intermediate Level)

Are you a CNC Mill Machinist who thrives in a custom, low-volume environment where precision, creativity, and problem-solving matter on every part?

At Larca Custom Machining, we specialize in one-off, built-to-print components. Most jobs come in once and never return—which means every day brings something new to think through and build from the ground up.

We're expanding our facility and looking for intermediate-level machinists who are confident on the machines, take pride in tight-tolerance work, and want to keep growing in a true custom shop setting.

Senior-level machinists: We're always looking for top-tier talent. If you're an experienced custom machinist with advanced setup or programming skills, we encourage you to apply through this posting. 3–6 years of CNC machining experience in a custom job shop (not production or high-volume)

Skilled in CNC mill setup, operation, and inspection

Strong blueprint reading ability and solid understanding of GD&T

Comfortable holding tight tolerances and inspecting your own work

Able to work independently and make sound decisions at the machine

Bonus Points: Experience with Mastercam

Comfortable editing G-code at the machine (programming not required)

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC mills to produce complex, custom components
  • Work from detailed blueprints and GD&T callouts
  • Measure, inspect, and verify all critical features to spec
  • Collaborate with experienced programmers and senior machinists
  • Contribute to the team's efficiency, precision, and problem-solving culture

Shift Options

Day Shift:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (core hours)

Flex hours for work-life balance

Summer Fridays off at 12:00pm

Night Shift:

Monday to Thursday, 9:00pm–7:30am (Four straight 10hr shifts)

Night shift premium pay

3-day weekends, every week
