We are a custom machine shop specializing in OEM replacement, emergency repair, and design/build parts and components, along with custom fixtures and tooling. We are currently seeking a motivated, well rounded professional machinist who thrives in a fast paced environment to join our growing day shift team. We service all industries including food, pharmaceutical, automotive, mining, institutional, etc. with quality being of the utmost importance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schedules, charts and tables
- Reverse Engineer sample parts to create shop drawings and machine replacement components.
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Maintain tolerances of.0005” to.002” with ease
- Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments
- Use overhead crane for setup and moving materials as required
- Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required on short notice

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of custom CNC machining experience/programming, specifically Haas is a plus.
- Fully licensed with a red seal certification in Tool & Die or General Machinist
- CNC Mill and CNC Lathe experience considered an asset.
- Experience with Mastercam is required.
- Ability to work to exact drawings, as well with verbal direction.
- Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Strong problem solving skills & communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and seamlessly as part of a team as well.

You would be required to attend safety, training, and other meetings as required.
