THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Western Canada Account Manager to join Cameron Instruments Inc., a dedicated company supplying high-quality measurement, calibration, and test equipment from some of the world's leading manufacturers. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Western Canada Account Manager will represent Cameron Instruments' interests and expand sales capabilities across Western Canada, particularly within municipalities, utilities, contractors, and industrial clients throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. This includes managing all active accounts, nurturing new leads, and actively pursuing new business opportunities. You will also be a fully integrated member of the Cameron Instruments team, collaborating closely with head office, manufacturers, business partners, and the broader technical community through trade shows, industry events, and other outreach channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain genuine relationships with our customers to ensure customer retention and new customer development.
- Plan, attend, and follow up on sales calls.
- Provide clear and accurate technical information on the products we sell.
- Deliver service and support, as required, to assist customers and facilitate the sales process.
- Identify opportunities in new and underserved sectors to expand Cameron Instruments' market presence.
- Prepare for and participate in trade shows to showcase products and engage with industry stakeholders.
- Travel as required to fulfill all job responsibilities across the assigned territory.
- Organize sales trips to efficiently reach customers located outside your local coverage area.
- Participate in approved training opportunities, both within Canada and internationally, to enhance product and industry knowledge.
- Track sales opportunities through ACT and other reporting methods, including emails and verbal updates, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in regular meetings with the National Sales Manager and Director of Sales to review progress, align priorities, and focus efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a B2B technology sales role in Canadian markets with demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and clearly convey product information.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently close deals.
- Excellent organizational skills with disciplined follow-up, accurate recordkeeping, and timely responsiveness to leads.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on understanding customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Proactive, independent learner and self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional phone and email communication skills; strong English language proficiency required.
- Prior experience in the metrology industry is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Ability to travel within Canada and internationally as required.
