Job Overview

Southwest Fire Protection is a trusted provider of fire protection services based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We specialize in installation, service and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for both residential and commercial properties.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts across various construction projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes. The Assistant Project Coordinator will work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Duties

  • Assist in monitoring project progress
  • Assist with job costing and tracking of project expenses.
  • Assist in developing safety plans as required to satisfy project requirements.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation.
  • Provide support to managers and other office staff as required.
  • Perform other office duties when assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years experience within the construction or fire protection industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Docs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
