We specialize in providing door and dock repair and installation services to the commercial and industrial sector. Due to our ongoing growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Door/Dock Technician. Job description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Ability to perform mechanical and electrical diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs for overhead doors, docks and related systems
  • Must be able to perform as a team player and have a good work ethic
  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to complete work orders and other documentation
  • Must have a positive Customer Service approach and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to work safely and follow Company and Client Protocols
  • Ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding and lifts and be capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment
  • Must have a Class G Drivers Licence with a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a service truck
  • High school degree or equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge and experience servicing and installing overhead doors (sectional, rolling steel, fire doors and high speed), dock systems and truck restraints
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Effective interpersonal skills with team members and clients
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Welding and torch skills preferred
  • Working at Heights, WHMIS and suspended platform/forklift certificates an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
