We specialize in providing door and dock repair and installation services to the commercial and industrial sector. Due to our ongoing growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Door/Dock Technician. **Job description**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 1 year experience
- Ability to perform mechanical and electrical diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs for overhead doors, docks and related systems
- Must be able to perform as a team player and have a good work ethic
- Good verbal and written English skills
- Ability to complete work orders and other documentation
- Must have a positive Customer Service approach and be detail oriented
- Must be able to work safely and follow Company and Client Protocols
- Ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding and lifts and be capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment
- Must have a Class G Drivers Licence with a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a service truck
- High school degree or equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge and experience servicing and installing overhead doors (sectional, rolling steel, fire doors and high speed), dock systems and truck restraints
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Effective interpersonal skills with team members and clients
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Welding and torch skills preferred
- Working at Heights, WHMIS and suspended platforM/Forklift certificates an asset
