Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to foster a welcoming environment for guests. Prior experience in both casual and fine dining settings, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, is highly desirable. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving the success of our restaurant through effective team management, inventory control, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to promote a motivated and efficient team.
  • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
  • Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food production to minimize waste while maintaining quality.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Implement shift management procedures to optimize productivity during busy hours.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled team.
  • Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all restaurant operations.
  • Coordinate catering events or banquet services as needed to expand service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
  • Strong background in food handling, kitchen management, and food safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen management background preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop staff through training & development initiatives. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,378.91-$71,501.45 per year
