As a Logistics Manager at Coffrages Synergy, you will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting our construction teams in the Halifax region.
Your mission will be to ensure optimal inventory management, efficient material distribution, and the coordination of our vehicle and equipment fleet. Sounds great, but what does a typical day as a Logistics Manager look like?
- Manage inventories: receiving, controlling, organizing, and updating stock;
- Oversee material distribution to various construction sites in the Halifax region;
- Ensure fleet management and follow-up: vehicles, equipment, and tools;
- Coordinate material movement between the warehouse, job sites, and suppliers;
- Optimize logistical processes to reduce delays, errors, and losses;
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and site teams;
- Plan material and equipment needs according to project schedules;
- Review and approve delivery slips, invoices, and material requests;
- Maintain up-to-date tracking spreadsheets (inventory, logistics, fleet, distribution);
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all logistical activities.
What you'll need:
- Experience in logistics, fleet management, inventory control, or operational coordination;
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate or advanced Excel);
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Autonomy, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, construction-related environment.

En tant que Responsable logistique chez Coffrages Synergy, tu joueras un rôle clé dans la fluidité de nos opérations et dans le soutien de nos équipes de chantier dans la région d'Halifax.
Ta mission consistera à assurer la gestion optimale des inventaires, la distribution du matériel, et la coordination de notre flotte de véhicules et d'équipements. Grâce à ton sens de la planification, ton efficacité et ta rigueur, tu contribueras directement au succès opérationnel de nos projets et au maintien de nos standards élevés en matière d'organisation et de performance logistique.

C'est bien beau tout ça, mais une journée de travail en tant que Responsable logistique, c'est quoi?
- Gérer les inventaires : réception, contrôle, organisation et mise à jour des stocks;
- Superviser la distribution du matériel vers les différents chantiers de la région d'Halifax;
- Assurer la gestion et le suivi de la flotte : véhicules, équipements et outils;
- Coordonner les mouvements de matériel entre l'entrepôt, les chantiers et les fournisseurs
- Optimiser les processus logistiques pour réduire les délais, les erreurs et les pertes;
- Travailler étroitement avec les chargés de projets, surintendants et équipes de chantier;
- Planifier les besoins en matériel et équipements selon les échéanciers des projets;
- Vérifier et approuver les bons de livraison, les factures et les demandes de matériel;
- Maintenir des tableaux de suivi à jour (inventaire, logistique, flotte, distribution);
- Assurer le respect des normes de santé et sécurité dans toutes les opérations logistiques.
Ce dont tu auras besoin :
- Expérience en logistique, gestion de flotte, inventaire ou coordination opérationnelle;
- Maîtrise de la suite Office (Excel intermédiaire ou avancé);
- Sens de l'organisation exceptionnel et grande rigueur;
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément;
- Autonomie, initiative et aisance en résolution de problèmes;
- Aptitude à travailler dans un environnement dynamique lié à la construction.
