Pool maintenance and Repair technician

Après Spa Services is hiring a Pool/ Hot tub maintenance/Repair technician to start as soon as possible.
* 4 day work week
* Competitive hourly rate
* Ski pass bonus
* Work vehicle included (potential to take home over weekends for the right candidate)
This position would be ideal for anyone that works well independently. There is set scheduled task list for the week/day that need to be completed. Training is required for 2 - 3 weeks with no previous experience required.
$27.50-$32.50+ hour. After 2 - 3 weeks training ($25 Training wage)
- Shifts are 3-4 days per week (Minimum 25 maximum 40)
- Work schedule to be discussed (work vehicle provided).
- Work hours are between 8-6 if a 4 day work week is what is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining residential, luxury and commercial hot tubs and pools
- Assisting in maintaining hot tub equipment
- Handling chlorine and other pool chemicals
- Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with all clients.
- Working outdoors in all types of conditions
Requirements:
- Valid Canadian work Visa
- Valid class 5 BC driver's license
- Bondable and clear criminal record
- Strong work ethic
- Able to follow direction and work long periods unsupervised
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Appropriate outdoor wear (boots, rain pants, etc.)
- Training in swimming pool and hot tub chemistry (CSPO, PSP, Fraser Health, etc.) are definite assets, but not required
Provided:
- Company vehicle (during your shifts)
- Training and support
- Great hourly wage. Training wage for first 2 -3 weeks, then $27.50-$32.50 per hour
- ski pass re-imbursement after ski season is completed.
- Tools and equipment
- Training in repairs and advanced maintaining will be provided once proficient in regular technician duties. Repair jobs will be paid at a higher hourly rate.
