Position Overview

The Bulk Fertilizer Blending Lead oversees the daily operations and maintenance of our fertilizer plant and related facilities. This hands-on role ensures the safe, efficient, and organized movement of fertilizer products while maintaining a clean, functional, and safe workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

· Operate fertilizer plant processes, safely and efficiently blending, loading, and unloading materials

· Handle incoming and outgoing fertilizer shipments, documentation, and inventory tracking

· Implement and perform preventative maintenance programs on plant equipment

· Daily maintenance which will include climbing & working at heights

· Ensure all buildings, yards, and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe year-round

· Promote and uphold all company safety procedures and policies

· Support seasonal operational needs and assist team members as required

· Daily use of mid-sized payloader & forklift required

· Daily computer use required to run blending software

· Daily reporting to Logistics Coordinator & Site Manager

· Required to work overtime as needed during seasonal demand

Qualifications

· Experience in operations, agriculture, or a related industrial setting preferred.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

· Familiarity with fertilizer blending, handling, or logistics is considered an asset.

· Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and stay organized under pressure.

· Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety.

· Open-minded and reacts positively to change; willingness to take on new challenges

· Valid driver's license required; forklift or equipment operation experience an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
