Position Summary

Dynamic Machine Corp is looking for a skilled Welder and Fabricator to support our Hydraulic Department. This is a hands-on shop role focused on welding, fabricating, and building components used in hydraulic systems. You may also assist with basic cylinder repair tasks when required. We are looking for someone reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a busy shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication on hydraulic components, brackets, mounts, and custom parts.
  • Repair and build cylinder components such as barrels, rods, and glands when needed.
  • Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and simple blueprints for fabrication work.
  • Fit, tack, weld, and finish parts with clean and accurate workmanship.
  • Support the hydraulic team with basic disassembly, prep work, and assembly tasks when required.
  • Use measuring tools to ensure parts meet correct dimensions and tolerances.
  • Operate shop tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, drills, torches, and welders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with shop maintenance and other tasks to support the department.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Three or more years of welding and fabrication experience in a shop environment.
  • Ability to weld using MIG. TIG experience is an asset.
  • Strong fabrication skills, including cutting, forming, layout, and fit-up.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand measurements.
  • Experience working with heavy steel components.
  • Mechanical aptitude. Experience with hydraulic cylinders is an asset but not required.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Must have basic hand tools and toolbox as per company policy.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.
  • Work performed in a fabrication and hydraulic shop, with occasional off-site work.
  • PPE such as safety glasses and steel‑toed boots required at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
