Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. The Kitchen Team Member will play a vital role in meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Support food preparation activities, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Handle food safely and follow all food safety protocols to prevent foodborne illness and contamination.
  • Serve food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Assist with restocking supplies and ensuring all kitchen equipment is in proper working order
  • Follow health regulations and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

  • Experience in cooking, restaurant operations, or food service preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly
  • Ability to handle food safely and adhere to food safety standards
  • Strong understanding of kitchen procedures and hygiene practices
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prior experience in the food industry or food handling is a plus, but not required

Pay: $17.20 per hour
