Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Help to join our dynamic culinary team In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and helping deliver exceptional meal service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where delicious, nutritious meals are prepared and served efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on culinary experience while supporting a vibrant food service operation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills
  • Support cooking activities by following established recipes and procedures to ensure quality and consistency
  • Help with food handling and storage, maintaining cleanliness and organization in compliance with food safety standards
  • Prepare meals according to menu plans, ensuring timely delivery for service periods
  • Aid in setting up and serving food during meal times, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests or residents
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout shifts
  • Support catering events or special meal occasions by assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures is essential
  • Strong knife skills and experience in meal preparation are highly desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with menu planning, cooking, and food industry standards is a plus
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
