Duties

  • Operate snow plow trucks and related equipment to clear snow and ice from designated areas
  • Perform routine inspections of plow vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
  • Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed to prevent ice buildup
  • Coordinate with team members to prioritize routes and complete snow removal efficiently
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on plow equipment, including mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting
  • Monitor weather conditions continuously to adapt operations accordingly
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks

Skills

  • Proven experience operating snow plow trucks or similar heavy machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Familiarity with construction, landscape maintenance, or horticulture equipment is a plus
  • Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment effectively
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to machinery operation and winter weather conditions

  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and supervisors
  • Physical stamina to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
